Village Election Committee Member Volunteers

The Elections will occur on Saturday, April 26, 2025.  Please continue to read The Scroll for more information regarding open seats and candidacy requirements.  At this time, we will begin to accept Volunteers for the Election Committee.

Qualifications for Committee members:

• You are eligible to vote at the forthcoming Election
• You are not a candidate for any Association office
• You will not actively campaign for or against any candidate

Duties (please view Dorsey’s Search By-Laws for entire list of duties):

• Establish administrative rules and regulations following our By-Laws
• Prepare and make available blank nomination petitions
• Prepare all absentee and regular ballots upon receipt of all nomination petitions
• Issue, receive, and count ballot cast and post results upon closing of the polls
• Certify, in writing, the name of those persons elected and offices to which they were elected, respectively, to the incumbent Board of Directors of the Association
