Howard County Department of Recreation and Parks’ presentation about Deer Management

Additional information: “The meeting video will be posted on our website afterwards and any residents wishing to speak about draft proposals for deer management in FY25 can still write in after tomorrow night or attend an in-person meeting in May to share their thoughts. Tomorrow’s presentation will primarily be a history of our sharpshooting and managed hunt programs, some brief data summaries, and a couple suggestions for next year’s efforts. I can tell you we will most likely only do sharpshooting operations in Dorsey Search next year, but are open to public feedback. All of this information is going to be shared in under 15 minutes and more specific or technical questions can always be submitted and addressed prior to or at the May meeting.” Comment should be email to hcrpboard@howardcountymd.gov prior to any meeting.
